Deltana 88TR6 Towel Ring, 6", 88 Series, Solid Brass

Plan for a 7 inch ring diameter and 3-1/8 inch projection off the wall on the Deltana 88TR6. The mounting post base is 2-5/8 inch wide, so that is the footprint that has to land on solid backing or an anchor. Keep the 3-1/8 inch projection in mind next to a swinging door or a vanity edge, since that is how far the ring stands off the finished wall.

The Deltana 88TR6 is a 6 inch towel ring in solid brass from the 88 Series. The Emtek Modern Brass Towel Ring from the Modern Brass Bath Hardware line is the nearest brass counterpart in a contemporary shape, and the Emtek Transitional Brass Towel Ring from the Transitional Bath Hardware line is the brass option if the room leans less strictly modern.

The 6 inch is Deltana's model size designation for the 88TR6 within the 88 Series. The published ring diameter is 7 inches and the projection from the wall is 3-1/8 inches, so size the towel by those numbers, not by the model name.

Two: brushed nickel and polished chrome. If you are matching faucets and shower trim across a run of units, those are the only two options in the 88TR6, so a warm finish like oil-rubbed bronze or unlacquered brass means going to a different series or brand.

Deltana rates the 88TR6 for commercial use, and the solid brass construction is what backs that up in a high turnover bathroom. Property managers standardizing multi-family or hospitality baths can run the same 88 Series piece across every unit and keep brushed nickel or polished chrome consistent throughout.

It is part of Deltana's 88 Series, a contemporary bath collection, so the towel bars, robe hooks and paper holders in that same 88 Series share the styling and the post detail. Mixing an 88 Series ring with a different Deltana series usually shows, since base shapes differ between collections.

The 88TR6 is a contemporary solid brass ring in brushed nickel or polished chrome. For a traditional profile, the Emtek Traditional Brass Towel Ring is the closer style match, and the Emtek Sandcast Bronze Towel Ring gives you a heavier, rustic bronze look. Between those extremes, the Emtek Transitional Brass Towel Ring splits the difference. For a plainer, budget-minded install the Sure-Loc Basic Towel Ring is a straightforward wall mounted option.

The 88TR6 is designed to coordinate within Deltana's 88 Bathroom Series, so it pairs with other 88 Series accessories rather than another maker's suite. If the bathroom is already fitted out in Delaney, the towel ring is sold per collection - Congaree 200, Cascade 300, Acadia 900 and Denali 1100 - and Orca offers the 2760 Cypress, 3660 Swirl, 4860 Blakely and 9160 Waldron rings by series, so you would pick the ring from the collection already on the wall.

Treat them as separate mounting patterns. The Deltana 88TR6 uses a 2-5/8 inch base width with a 3-1/8 inch projection and a 7 inch ring diameter. The Orca 2760 Cypress and the Delaney Congaree 200 Series towel ring are each their own series design, so plan on new anchors and patching rather than assuming a hole-for-hole swap.

It is a fixed ring on a single wall post, 7 inches in diameter standing 3-1/8 inches off the wall on a 2-5/8 inch base. If you need a pivoting arm for a narrow space beside a vanity, this is not that type of accessory.

No. The Sure-Loc Brighton Towel Ring is its own Brighton series design, while the 88TR6 is a solid brass 6 inch ring in Deltana's 88 Series offered in Brushed Nickel and Polished Chrome. They are both wall mounted towel rings but they are not interchangeable in styling or trim matching.
