Deltana 88STPH Toilet Paper Holder, Single Post, 88 Series, Solid Brass

The Deltana 88STPH is a single post toilet paper holder in solid brass, part of the 88 Series. The closest match in configuration is the Sure-Loc Brighton Single Post Paper Holder (SUR-BT-PH1), which uses the same single post arrangement where the roll loads onto one open arm rather than sitting on a spindle between two posts. Styling differs between the Deltana 88 Series contemporary look and the Sure-Loc Brighton series, so confirm the finish family matches the rest of the bath set.

The Deltana 88STPH is built as a single post holder, so the roll slides on from the open end. If the job calls for the traditional two post arrangement with a spindle captured between brackets, the Sure-Loc Basic 2-Post Paper Holder (SUR-BA-PH) is the two post option. Two post holders keep the roll captive, which some property managers prefer in higher traffic restrooms.

A single post holder like the Deltana 88STPH holds the roll on one open arm, so the roll slides on and off without removing a spring roller or pulling the holder apart. Two post styles such as the Sure-Loc Basic 2-Post Paper Holder capture a roller between two arms, and euro style units like the Sure-Loc Baden or Boulder wall mounted euro holders use an open hook form. For multi-family and hospitality turnovers, single post is the quickest to reload and has no loose roller to lose.

Solid brass is the substrate, not a coating over pot metal or steel. Both the material and substrate on the 88STPH are brass, with the finish applied over it. That matters in a bathroom, where humidity attacks plated zinc bases and causes the finish to lift at the mounting post.

Deltana classifies the 88 Series bath accessories as commercial, and the 88STPH is solid brass, so it holds up in hotel guest baths, office suites, and multi-family units. It is a contemporary decorative accessory rather than an institutional heavy-duty washroom fixture, so for high-abuse public restrooms you would look at a different class of product.

Emtek's bar style paper holders are the alternative, and they come in four different design families: Modern Brass, Traditional Brass, Transitional Brass, and Sandcast Bronze. A bar style spans between two mounting points, which usually means more wall space and two anchor locations rather than the single 2-5/8 inch base the Deltana 88STPH uses.

For volume unit work, Orca Hardware runs several series with the same wall-mount format: the 2752 Cypress and 4852 Blakely both use a plastic tube roller, while the 3655 Swirl and 5255 Ripple are euro style. Sure-Loc's Brighton is the closest in format to the Deltana, since it is also a single post design. The Deltana 88STPH differs in being solid brass throughout.

Yes. Model 88STPH is part of the Deltana 88 Series bath collection, a contemporary line built in solid brass and sold in matching finishes, so the paper holder shares its base and styling with the rest of the series. If your existing pieces are 88 Series in Brushed Nickel, this is the matching paper holder.

The Deltana 88STPH is a single post design, so the roll loads directly onto the post with no separate roller tube. If the specification calls for a holder supplied with a plastic tube, the Orca Hardware 2752 (ORC-2752) and the Orca Hardware 4852 Blakely (ORC-4852) are both supplied as toilet paper holders with a plastic tube.

The Deltana 88STPH belongs to the Deltana 88 Series, described as a contemporary collection, so it reads modern on the wall. For a traditional look, the Emtek Traditional Brass Paper Holder - Bar Style (EMTEK-TRADITIONAL-BRASS-PAPER-HOLDER-BAR-STYLE) comes from the Traditional Bath Hardware series, and for something between the two the Emtek Transitional Brass Paper Holder - Bar Style (EMTEK-TRANSITIONAL-BRASS-PAPER-HOLDER-BAR-STYLE) comes from the Transitional Bath Hardware series. All three are brass paper holders; the difference is the styling family.

No. The Deltana 88STPH is a single post holder with a 2-5/8 inch base and 3-1/8 inch projection, mounting on one base plate. The Emtek Modern Brass Paper Holder - Bar Style (EMTEK-MODERN-BRASS-PAPER-HOLDER-BAR-STYLE) is a bar style unit from the Modern Brass Bath Hardware series, which spans between two mounting points rather than a single post. It is a stylistic alternative, not a drop-in replacement for existing 88STPH anchor holes.

Brushed Nickel is the finish offered on the 88STPH. If you are standardizing a building, pair it with the rest of the Deltana 88 Series bath accessories in the same finish so the towel bar, ring, and paper holder match across every unit.

It is sold each, one holder per unit. If you are outfitting multiple units, order one per bathroom rather than expecting a multi-pack.

The Deltana 88STPH is specified as solid brass throughout and is rated for commercial use, which suits repeat installs across many units where the same part number is reordered over years. Among the alternatives, Emtek's Modern Brass, Traditional Brass and Transitional Brass bar style paper holders are also brass bath hardware families, so a property standardizing on brass has both a single post option in the Deltana 88STPH and bar style options from Emtek depending on the look wanted.
