The Deltana DLP23875 is a drive-in tubular latch designed for interior residential doors where a clean, tool-minimal installation is required. The latch drives directly into a bored hole — no faceplate mortising — and the adjustable backset mechanism lets you set the throw at either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" to match standard door prep without swapping parts. Available in seven finishes to coordinate with any interior hardware set.
The DLP23875 supports both passage and privacy functions. In passage mode the latch retracts freely from either side. Switched to privacy mode, the latch can be held from the inside — ideal for bathrooms, bedrooms, and home offices. No key cylinder is required or included; this is a non-keyed latch only.
Constructed from steel and zinc for durability in everyday residential use. The faceplate collar is finished to match the selected finish, so the installed result looks intentional rather than utilitarian.
