Deltana GL6688-12ATK – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Deltana GL6688 resin ceiling lamp suitable for a commercial corridor or hotel property?
It's rated residential, not commercial. For apartments, single family, and condo interiors it's a fit. For a hotel corridor, office, or other commercial occupancy, specify a fixture rated for that use instead, since commercial jobs are usually written around a commercial-rated, often UL-listed product and an inspector will look for it.
2) If I'm standardizing fixtures across several units, can I count on reordering the Deltana GL6688-12ATK later?
Treat it as a one-time buy. The GL6688-12ATK is carried as clearance stock, so a property manager matching fixtures across a building should order the full count for every opening at once rather than planning to come back for the balance later. If you need a fixture you can reorder for years, pick a current-production model instead.
3) What is the Deltana GL6688-12ATK ceiling lamp made of?
Resin, both the substrate and the finished surface. There's only one version of the GL6688-12ATK, listed with a Resin finish, so you're not choosing between metal platings the way you would on Deltana's solid brass hardware. Resin keeps the fixture light and gives a molded decorative profile rather than a spun metal one.
4) Can I buy the Deltana GL6688-12ATK in a larger or smaller size?
The GL6688-12ATK is the 12 inch size, and that's the only size this model number covers. If you need a different diameter for a larger room or a tighter closet, you're looking at a different model in Deltana's resin flush ceiling lamp series, not a size option on this one.
5) Is this a flush mount or a semi-flush pendant?
Flush mount. The GL6688 sits tight to the ceiling rather than hanging on a stem or chain, which is what you want in a low ceiling, a stairwell landing, or a closet where a drop fixture would be in the way. Its 6-1/4 inch dimension is the deepest part of the body.
