Deltana SCF100 Solid Brass Screw Cover, 1" Diameter Round, Flat

The SCF100 is a 1 inch diameter round cover, so it conceals the screw head and any surrounding hole up to that 1 inch footprint. Measure the exposed screw and the ring of unfinished wood or metal around it: if the whole thing sits inside a 1 inch circle, this covers it.

Nine finishes: PVD Polished Brass, Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Nickel, Antique Nickel, Polished Chrome, Brushed Chrome, and Paint Black. That is the full set, so most Deltana trim on a door has a matching cover. If the rest of the opening is living finish brass, the PVD Polished Brass version is the one that holds its color rather than aging.

Flat. The SCF100 sits nearly flush against the surface rather than crowning up like a domed or convex cover, which is what you want where a hand or a door edge passes over it, or where a raised button would look wrong next to flat trim.

Solid brass, both the material and the substrate. That matters on a cover this small: a plated pot metal button chips at the edge the first time someone catches it, and the base color shows. Solid brass takes the finish through and can be polished back if it gets scuffed.

Each. The SCF100 is sold as a single cover, so count your exposed screws and order that quantity. On a job where you are covering a row of fasteners, order per hole rather than assuming a pack of four or six.

A screw cover is the cosmetic fix, and it is the right one when the fastener has to stay accessible. The 1 inch solid brass SCF100 caps the head so all you see is a finished brass disc. If the screw itself is the wrong finish and permanently set, swapping to a matching finish screw is the cleaner answer. Cover it when you may need to take the hardware back off later, or when the hole in the surface is larger than any screw head you can source.

Residential is what it is rated for. On a high traffic commercial opening, a decorative cover over an exposed fastener is generally the wrong call anyway, since it can be picked off and the screw underneath is what holds the hardware. Use it on entry doors, interior trim, and cabinetry in homes and multi-family units where the look matters.
