The SCWB775 is a #7 gauge screw with a 3/4 inch length. That is a trim-length fastener: it is sized for surface-mounted door trim like stops, holders, escutcheons, and small plates going into a wood jamb or door edge, not for carrying the weight of a hinge leaf on a hung door. If you are fastening a load-bearing hinge, step up to a longer screw that reaches framing.

Solid brass, both the material and the substrate on the SCWB775. That matters two ways: the finish will not chip off a plated shell at the driver recess, and the screw will not rust-stain a brass or bronze plate the way a plated steel screw does when moisture gets to it.
