Deltana TK6411 Morant Lever Trimkit

A trimkit is the lever trim only, the levers, roses and the mounting hardware that ties them through the door. There's no latch or strike in a TK6411 kit, so if you're building a complete opening you still need the bored latch. It's meant for putting new Morant levers on a door that already has a working latch in it, or for pairing with a latch you buy separately.

No handing to specify. The Morant lever trim is universal, so one kit works on a left or right hand door and you reverse the lever at install. For a property manager buying several at once that means one part number covers every door in the run regardless of swing.

It's a residential product. The Morant trim is built for interior doors in a home, bedrooms, offices, closets, and Deltana doesn't rate it for commercial traffic. For a corridor, stairwell or any opening on a life safety plan you want a Grade 1 or Grade 2 commercial cylindrical lockset instead. Inside apartment units, on unit interior doors, it's fine.

The TK6411 is trim, so the lock function comes from whatever latch or lockbody it's mounted to, not from the trim itself. Deltana's Morant levers are offered across a range of functions, passage, privacy and entry, so match the function to the latch you're using. If you need a keyed entry, specify the function at the latch, not at the trim.

That's exactly what it's for. If the bored prep in your door is already cut and the latch works, the Morant trimkit swaps the levers and roses and leaves the latch in place. It's the cheap way to re-style a run of interior doors, and since the trim is universal hand you don't have to sort the doors by swing before ordering.
