Deltana TK6461 Savanna Lever Trimkit

The TK6461 Savanna is a trimkit, meaning lever handles and roses only. There is no latch or bored lock chassis in it. Use it to redress an existing interior bored lockset where the latching mechanism is already in the door and working, and you just want a new lever look. If the door has no lock in it yet, you need a complete lever lockset instead.

Yes, handing is an ordering choice here. The Savanna trimkit is built right hand or left hand, and it is not field reversible in the data. Stand outside the door (the side you push from on a swing-in door): if the hinges are on your right, it is right hand. Pick that hand in the finish you want.

No. Deltana lists the Savanna TK6461 as a residential product. For apartment interiors, condo units, or a single family home it is appropriate; for a school, hospital corridor, or any opening on a commercial spec, go to a Grade 1 or Grade 2 cylindrical lockset instead of a residential trimkit.

Seven finishes across both hands: PVD Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Brushed Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Antique Nickel, Antique Brass, and Oil Rubbed Bronze. Each is offered in right hand and left hand, so a property manager redressing a floor of doors can hold one finish and order the hand door by door. PVD Polished Brass is the finish to pick if you want brass that stays bright without polishing.

Yes, as long as you count the hands. The Savanna is stocked in each of its seven finishes in both right hand and left hand, so a mixed-swing hallway is covered. Walk the doors, note which way each one swings, and order the matching hand for each opening in the single finish you want across the job. All of them accept doors from 1-3/8 inch up to 2 inch.

Steel and zinc construction on the TK6461 Savanna, with the finish applied over it. That is a residential-duty build, fine for bedroom, bathroom, and closet doors in a home or apartment, and not intended for the cycle counts a commercial entry sees.
