Dexter C1000 Series - Grade 1 Passage Cylindrical Lever Lock, Clutching, Non-Keyed

The C1000 cylindrical lever covers a 1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch door thickness range, so it drops onto both the older 1-3/8 inch interior doors and standard 1-3/4 inch commercial doors without an extra kit. Thicker than 1-3/4 and you are outside the range; the Falcon K101 Grade 1 passage lever runs 1-3/8 inch to 2-1/4 inch if you have doors past that.

No handing to specify. The C1000 lever is non-handed, so one part number works on a left or right hand door, in-swing or out. For a property manager buying a dozen at a time that means one line item covers every opening in the building rather than splitting the order by door swing.

Standard is the 2-3/4 inch backset springlatch, C1000-SL-234, with a 1 inch diameter latch case. A 2-3/8 inch springlatch, C1000-SL, is selectable at order time, which is what you need on doors bored to the common residential prep. Backset is a required choice on the order, so pick it against the existing bore before you submit.

It ships with the ANSI 1-1/4 x 4-7/8 inch curved lip strike, C1000-ACLS, which is the standard commercial frame prep. If your frame already has an ANSI strike cutout, the new strike drops straight in. The latch faceplate is 1 x 2-1/4 inches, square-corner beveled, so an existing square-corner door edge mortise of that size takes it without patching.
