Mustee 3648M – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size shower base is the Mustee 3648M?
The Mustee 3648M Durabase shower floor is a 36 by 48 inch base in white. That footprint suits a replacement of an older 36 x 48 alcove pan or a new small-footprint stall where a 36 x 36 is too tight and a 36 x 60 will not fit the framing.
2) Is the Mustee 3648M a shower pan or a full shower stall with walls?
It is the floor only. The 3648M Durabase is a shower base, meaning the pan the water drains through; wall surrounds, the drain trim, valve and door are separate purchases. Contractors ordering this for a bathroom remodel should plan the wall panels or tile backer and the drain assembly alongside it.
3) What model number do I order for a Mustee 36 x 48 white Durabase?
Order Mustee part number 3648M. That single number covers the 36 x 48 white Durabase floor; there are no finish or drain-location variants to specify with it.
