Mustee 96 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size is the Mustee 96 Durapan washer pan?
The Mustee Durapan model 96 is a 31 x 33 inch washing machine pan. Measure the footprint of your washer plus any leveling feet spread before ordering, since the machine has to sit fully inside the pan for it to catch a leak.
2) Do I need a washer pan under a second-floor laundry in an apartment building?
Most multi-family and condo rules call for a drain pan under any washer installed over a finished space, and that is the job the Mustee 96 Durapan does: it sits under the machine and contains a hose drip or overflow instead of letting it reach the ceiling below. Property managers standardize on one pan size across units so replacements are a single part number.
3) Is the Mustee 96 a drain pan only, or does it include the drain fitting and hose?
Model 96 is the pan itself, a fixture accessory. Plan on sourcing the drain fitting, tailpiece and any hose separately as part of the rough-in.
