6) I need 24 volts but my transformer is AC and the lock is DC. What do I add?
A rectifier converts the AC secondary to DC, and the Trine SR-1 silicon rectifier is the part that does it. Wire it downstream of the transformer's 24VAC output. The alternative is to skip the add-on entirely and order a DC model from DynaLock's 5300 Series instead, those come with the rectifier bridge built in.
7) Can I mount a 24V transformer inside an enclosure or on a bracket instead of using a plug-in?
