1) Is the B-Line AC-1248T a complete console enclosure or just part of one?
The AC-1248T is the top assembly only. It's the upper console section that mounts onto the AC-1248B base, so you need both pieces to build out a complete Type-12-AW-12 console. Ordering the top alone leaves you without the base cabinet.
2) Will a NEMA 12 console like the AC-1248T hold up in a washdown or outdoor area?
No. NEMA 12 covers indoor use against dust, falling dirt and dripping non-corrosive liquids. It is not a washdown or outdoor rating, so if the panel sees hose-down cleaning or weather you want a Type 4 or 4X enclosure instead. For a plant floor, control room, or indoor machine line, NEMA 12 is the normal choice.
