Dropped into a 2 inch deep Flextray run, the steel divider creates two channels in one basket so you can keep line voltage on one side and low voltage communications on the other without running a second tray. It is UL Classified and CSA compliant, which is what a facility electrical inspector will look for on a cable tray system.
2) Is the black finish on the Flextray divider paint or powder coat, and will it hold up in a data center?
Flat black powder coat over steel, which is the standard indoor finish for Flextray in server rooms and AV spaces where the tray is visible overhead. It is a dry indoor finish, not a hot dip galvanized or stainless product, so keep it out of wet, corrosive, or exterior locations.
