B-LINE 12 C BRKT BLE – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What tray widths does the B-Line Flextray 12 C BRKT BLE bracket work with?
The 12 C BRKT BLE bracket supports Eaton B-Line Flextray wire basket tray from 4 inches up to 12 inches wide, so one part number covers the common small and mid-width runs on a data or low-voltage job. If your basket run is wider than 12 inches, this bracket is not the right support.
2) Is the Eaton B-Line Flextray bracket UL Classified and CSA compliant?
Yes. The bracket is UL Classified and carries CSA compliance, which is what most specs and inspectors ask for on cable tray support in commercial and institutional buildings.
3) Is the black Flextray bracket painted steel or stainless?
It is galvanized steel finished in flat black powder coat. That is a painted galvanized part, not stainless, so it suits dry interior runs above ceilings and in equipment rooms where the black finish matters visually (open-ceiling retail, offices, exposed structure). For corrosive or wash-down areas you want a stainless or hot-dip product instead.
4) What are the dimensions and weight of the 12 C BRKT BLE Flextray bracket?
It measures 13.7 x 7.88 x 1.62 inches and weighs 1.5 lb. The 1.62 inch dimension is the narrow profile, so it takes up very little space alongside the tray, and at a pound and a half each a full pallet of supports is easy to distribute on site by hand.
5) Do I get the threaded rod and anchors with the Flextray bracket?
No. Ordering 12 C BRKT BLE gets you the bracket itself. Rod, anchors, channel, and any wall or structure attachment hardware are separate line items, so budget those into the takeoff along with one bracket per support point on the run.
6) Will the black Flextray bracket match black basket tray already installed?
The finish is flat black powder coat, the same finish Eaton B-Line uses on its black Flextray components, so brackets ordered under 12 C BRKT BLE blend with an existing black basket run rather than showing bright galvanized steel at every support point. Useful when the ceiling is open and the tray is visible.
