B-Line Eaton series free standing enclosure accessories, 4X, Brushed, Used to mount panels in upper or lower sections, Steel, Half panel mounting, Fr

The AF7248HP is a steel half panel measuring 30.75 x 43.87 x 30.75 inches as listed (height, width, length/depth). It is built for Eaton B-Line free standing enclosures and mounts in either the upper or lower section of the cabinet, so you pick the half you need to populate. Match the panel footprint to your enclosure's interior mounting dimensions before ordering.

Half panel. It mounts in the upper or lower section of a free standing enclosure, which lets you split the back plane between two panels or leave one half open for wireway and cable routing. If you need to cover the whole back of the cabinet in one piece, you want the full panel version instead.

It is 12 gauge steel, which is heavier than the sheet used for most enclosure doors and is the usual choice for carrying VFDs, contactors, transformers and terminal blocks without flexing. Fastener support comes from the enclosure's panel mounting provisions, so load the panel while it is on the bench and set it in place afterward.

What ships is the half panel itself. Panel mounting in Eaton B-Line free standing enclosures is done through the cabinet's own panel supports or mounting channel, so confirm your enclosure has those provisions and order the matching mounting kit separately if it does not.

That is the intent of the design. Because the AF7248HP mounts in either the upper or the lower section, a pair of them stacks to cover the back plane, and you can pull just one out for bench work instead of unloading an entire full panel. Check that your cabinet's interior height accepts two panels of 30.75 inches plus clearance.

The finish is brushed, not painted. A brushed steel panel leaves bare metal at the surface, which matters two ways on a job: it gives you a bonding path if you are grounding devices through the panel, and it means you should not expect a white painted face for component marking.
