The one diamond plank measures 10 in long, 2.5 in wide, and 1.125 in high. That 2.5 in width is a single diamond row, so it is sized for a narrow tread, a step over a pipe run, or a short crossover rather than a full platform. For wider coverage you step up to a multi-diamond plank.

Order Eaton B-Line part number 11014 10 GL. That number covers the 14 gauge pre-galvanized steel one diamond plank at 10 in length. The GL suffix is the galvanized finish, so if a drawing calls for stainless or a painted finish this is not the right catalog number.

At 2.5 in wide it is too narrow to serve as a code stair tread on its own. Its 1.125 in height and slip resistant serrated diamond surface suit it to single step-overs, ladder rungs, narrow crossovers, or ganging several planks side by side on supporting framing. For a full tread depth, use a wider multi diamond plank or a purpose made Grip Strut stair tread.

It is pre-galvanized steel, meaning the coil is zinc coated and then punched and formed. Sheared edges and punched openings are left bare, which is fine for covered or dry indoor electrical and mechanical rooms. For sustained outdoor exposure or washdown, specify a hot dip galvanized after fabrication or stainless plank instead.
