Yes, the Eaton B-Line Grip Strut plank is listed as OSHA compliant, and the punched diamond openings give the non-slip footing that safe-walking-surface requirements are aimed at. It is intended for places where sure footing matters, such as catwalks, platform access and equipment landings.

Plain finish means bare, uncoated steel with no galvanizing or paint. That is fine for dry indoor use, but outdoors or in a wet or corrosive area bare steel will rust unless you paint or coat it after cutting and fitting. If the plank is going outside or into a washdown area, specify a galvanized or coated Grip Strut version instead.

A full 144 inch length weighs 7.4 lb, so one person can carry and set a plank by hand. That light weight is the reason fabricated plank gets used for service catwalks and mezzanine access runs where hoisting heavy bar grating is impractical.
