It matches a 12 inch wide, 4 inch deep aluminum tray run. The loading depth is 4 inches and the inside width is 12 inches, so it splices into straight sections of the same Series 2-5 aluminum tray dimensions. A tray of a different width or rail height needs the matching bend, not this one.

Plan for a 48 inch inside radius. The fitting itself measures 57.0625 inches over its length, so you need roughly five feet of clear space in each direction from the corner before the straight sections pick up again. Tight corridors or close wall returns usually call for a shorter radius bend instead.

Bend radius is driven by the cable, not the tray. Large power and fiber cables have a minimum bend radius, and a 48 inch radius corner keeps those cables sweeping gently around the turn instead of kinking at the fitting. If you are running small control or instrument cable, a tighter radius bend will usually do. For high voltage feeders or fiber, the 48 inch is the one to spec.

Aluminum. That gives you a light fitting that resists corrosion without galvanizing or paint, which is why aluminum tray is common in wastewater plants, coastal sites, chemical areas, and outdoor runs. It also means you should keep dissimilar metal contact in mind at supports and hardware.

Order Eaton B-Line part 4A-12-90HB48. The number reads out as 4 inch depth, 12 inch width, 90 degree horizontal bend, 48 inch radius, in the Series 2-5 aluminum line.

Side to side only. A horizontal bend turns the run left or right while the tray stays in the same plane, and this one turns it a full 90 degrees at a 48 inch radius. To take a run up a wall or drop it down to equipment, you need a vertical inside or outside bend instead.

The 4A-12-90HB48 bend is CE marked. That is the certification carried on the fitting.
