Handing matters. The 6A-36-RR18 is the right-hand version, meaning the width reduction is taken on the right side of the run while the opposite rail runs straight. If your straight rail needs to be on the right instead, you need the left reducer. A straight (centered) reducer is a third, different fitting. Sight down the run in the direction of the reduction before you pick.

The 6A-36-RR18 is supplied as the reducer fitting itself. Splice plates, hardware and hangers are separate line items on a cable tray order, so count two splice connections for this fitting, one at the 36 inch end and one at the 18 inch end, and add them to your material list.

Order it as Eaton B-Line 6A-36-RR18. The number reads out as 6 inch depth, aluminum, 36 inch incoming width, right reducer to 18 inch, which is how the rest of the series is coded too.

Allow 18.44 inches of straight run for the fitting between splice points. That is the dimension to deduct when you cut or order the adjoining straight sections so the reduction lands where your riser or panel drop needs it.

7.3 pounds. At that weight one electrician can hold it up to the trapeze hangers while a second lands the splice plates, which is a practical difference from the equivalent steel fitting on a 36 inch wide run.

It is CE marked. That is the certification stated for this aluminum reducer; for any project-specific listing requirement, specify against the marking you need on the submittal.
