A vertical inside bend changes the elevation of a tray run where the cables pass along the inside of the turn, so the tray angles up or down with the cables bearing on the concave side. Eaton B-Line part 6A-30-30VI36 is the 30 degree vertical inside bend for 6 inch deep, 30 inch wide aluminum ladder tray on a 36 inch radius. If your run has to rise or drop and the cable pulls against the outside of the curve instead, that is where a vertical outside bend is specified. Inside and outside versions are not interchangeable, so confirm which way the run breaks before ordering.

It matches straight tray that is 30 inches wide with a 6 inch side rail depth. Width and depth both have to agree with the straight sections you are joining, or the rails will not line up at the splice. The 36 inch radius is the sweep of the curve, which also has to match the radius used elsewhere in the run if you are keeping the bend geometry consistent for cable bending limits.

Allow for a fitting measuring 6 inches in height, 26.692 inches in length or depth, and 30 inches in width, sweeping on a 36 inch radius. The 26.692 inch dimension is what the fitting consumes in the run, so lay out your straight lengths and supports around it rather than cutting tray to fit afterwards.

Aluminum. That keeps the weight down for overhead work (the fitting is 13 lb) and gives better corrosion resistance than plain carbon steel, which is why aluminum tray is common in wet, humid, and exterior runs. If your spec calls for hot dip galvanized steel or stainless, this is not the right material.

Part 6A-30-30VI36 is the bend fitting itself. Splice plates, connectors, and mounting hardware for joining it to straight tray are separate line items, so add them to the order along with the supports on each side of the fitting.

13 lb for the fitting. Light enough for one person to set on trapeze supports, though at 30 inches wide it is awkward to handle alone and you will want the supports on both sides of the sweep in place first.
