It is a three-way tray fitting that drops a branch downward out of a horizontal run. The B-Line 6A-18-VT24 is a Series 2-5 vertical tee down built for 18 inch wide, 6 inch deep aluminum tray, with a 24 inch bend radius on the drop. Use it where you need a main run to continue straight while feeding cable down to equipment, a wall drop, or a lower tier.

Plan on 27 inches of length along the main run for the fitting itself, plus clearance below it for the 24 inch radius drop to sweep out before the next straight section starts. The large radius is there to protect minimum bend radius on large power or fiber cable, so do not substitute a tighter fitting to save headroom without checking your cable's bend limit.

Aluminum. That is the usual choice where weight matters and where a plated or painted steel tray would corrode, and it keeps the fitting light enough to set in place without lifting gear. If your spec calls for steel or stainless tray, this one will not match the run electrically or mechanically.

33.5 lb. Light enough for two people to set on an overhead run, but it is a concentrated load at the branch point, so support it per your tray support spacing rather than letting it hang off the adjoining straight sections.

Order the connecting hardware separately. The 6A-18-VT24 is the fitting body itself, so you will need matching Series 2-5 splice plates and bolts at each end, plus hangers or supports at the drop, to complete the run.

Eaton B-Line part number 6A-18-VT24. The number reads out as 6 inch rail, aluminum, 18 inch width, vertical tee 24 inch radius, which is what a distributor or estimator will check it against on the takeoff.

It carries CE marking. Any other listing or agency approval your facility spec requires should be confirmed against the project submittal rather than assumed from the CE mark.
