Plan for the full sweep: the fitting turns 45 degrees on a 48 inch inside radius and measures 41.25 inches along its length. That is a wide, gentle turn, so it needs clear space through the corner and away from ductwork, pipe racks and walls. If the corner is tight, a shorter radius bend of the same width is the fitting to look at rather than trying to force this one in.

Aluminum. That is the reason to pick it for exterior runs, wash-down areas, water treatment and coastal sites, where it holds up better than plain painted steel and weighs far less to hang. It also keeps the corner light: the fitting is 10 lb, which one person can set on the trapeze while another lands the splice plates.

The 6A-06-45HB48 bend carries CSA certification, which is what an electrical inspector on a Canadian project will look for on the tray and its fittings.

The bend is the corner section only. Each end still has to be joined to the adjoining straight section with splice plates and hardware, and the fitting needs its own support near the turn, since a 48 inch radius bend spans a long way through the corner and should not hang off the straight sections alone. Order the splice connectors and supports that match the 6 inch rail height along with it.

Eaton B-Line part 6A-06-45HB48. Reading the number: 6A is the aluminum 6 inch rail series, 06 is the 6 inch tray width, 45HB is the 45 degree horizontal bend, and 48 is the radius in inches. If the run is a different width, the 06 is the digit that changes.
