The B22-120SS6 is a steel strut channel with a type 316 stainless steel finish, formed from 12 gauge material. Type 316 is the marine/chemical grade a spec writer calls out for coastal air, wastewater plants, food processing washdown, and chloride exposure where plain galvanized strut rusts out.

B22 channel measures 1.62 inches in height and 1.62 inches in width, which is the nominal 1-5/8 by 1-5/8 strut profile. B22 is the plain, solid-back version of the 1-5/8 inch square strut profile. The back has no factory holes or slots, so you drill or clamp where you need it. If you want a punched back for faster field attachment, order a slotted or holed variant of the same profile instead; the mounting hardware is interchangeable because the channel dimensions are identical at 1.62 by 1.62 inches.
