The B231HDG is a two hole corner angle that joins two pieces of strut at 90 degrees with no twist, meaning both bolt faces sit in the same plane rather than offset. One hole bolts to each strut member, so it squares up a corner in a framing, support, or trapeze assembly. It ships pre assembled.

It is steel with a hot-dipped galvanized finish, which is the finish specified for exterior, rooftop, damp, and corrosive-duty strut work. For dry interior runs an electro-galvanized or plain finish fitting is the usual choice; the hot-dipped version is what you order when the assembly sees weather.

The fitting is supplied pre assembled as an angle bracket. Hardware to fasten it to the strut, channel nuts and bolts sized to your strut series, is a separate line item, so add it to the order if you do not already have it on the truck.

No twist, like the B231HDG, keeps both mounting faces flat in the same plane, so it lays against two strut members meeting in the same plane at a right angle. A twisted angle rotates one leg 90 degrees so it can bolt to a face that is perpendicular to the first, which is what you want when the corner turns out of plane. Pick by which way the second piece of strut faces.
