B-Line B293-24GRN Eaton series strut fittings and accessories, 3.5" Height, 24" Length, 1.62" Width, 4.12lbs, Steel, Number of mounting holes (1) 9/16 in diameter (vertical), Bracket, channel opening upward, Uniform load capacity 300 lb, DURA GREEN

The B293-24GRN carries a uniform load capacity of 300 lb. That is the rating for the bracket itself, so the strut channel it mounts to, the anchors, and the base material all have to be good for at least that much before the number means anything on the job. The bracket is steel and weighs 4.12 lb.

There is one mounting hole, 9/16 in diameter, oriented vertically. A 1/2 in bolt or threaded rod passes through it with clearance; 9/16 in is the standard oversize clearance hole for 1/2 in hardware on strut fittings. Fasteners are not part of the bracket, so order the bolt, nut and washer separately.

It runs 24 in long, 3.5 in high and 1.62 in wide. The 1.62 in width is the standard 1-5/8 in strut profile, so it lines up with 1-5/8 in strut channel and takes standard 1-5/8 in channel nuts and fittings. Allow the full 24 in of projection from the wall or column face when you lay out the run.

It describes how the strut channel section of the bracket sits once mounted: the open slotted face points up, so channel nuts drop in from above and you can bolt equipment down onto the top of the arm. Pick it when the load lands on top of the bracket, such as conduit racks, cable tray supports or equipment stands. If you need to hang gear beneath the arm, a channel-opening-downward bracket is the one to specify instead.

DURA GREEN is a coated finish over steel, and it is the finish B-Line uses on its corrosion-resistant strut line, which is why it turns up in water treatment, wash-down and chemical areas rather than plain plated strut. It is also the visual cue on a job: if the rest of the strut run is DURA GREEN, this bracket matches it. For fully submerged or direct-saltwater service, stainless strut fittings are the usual call.

Order B-Line B293-24GRN. The B293 is the bracket series, the 24 is the arm length in inches, and the GRN suffix is the DURA GREEN finish. Same bracket in a different length or finish changes those two elements of the number, so quote the full designation when you spec it.

No. The B293-24GRN is the steel bracket only, with a single 9/16 in mounting hole. Channel nuts, bolts, washers and whatever anchors suit your base material (wedge anchors into concrete, through-bolts on steel) are separate line items. Budget the hardware in DURA GREEN or an equivalent protected finish if the reason you picked this bracket was the environment.
