The B-Line B177SHRGRN is a right bracing slotted bracket for Eaton B-Line strut. It ties a strut run back to a structure or another strut member at an angle to take diagonal load, so a cantilevered or tall strut assembly does not rack. It is steel, 1/4 inch thick, and 30 inches long, so it is sized for long-span bracing rather than a short corner gusset.

Handing is fixed. The B177SHRGRN is the right bracing bracket only, and the model comes in one configuration. If your brace runs the opposite direction off the strut, you need the left-hand equivalent from the same B-Line bracing bracket family rather than flipping this one, since the slot and hole pattern is laid out for a right-hand brace.

Six holes total: one 7/16 inch diameter hole, and four slots 1 inch long by 13/32 inch. The 7/16 inch hole takes a standard 3/8 inch strut bolt or channel nut hardware, and the 1 inch slots give you adjustment along the brace so you can pick up existing strut hole spacing without redrilling.

It measures 30 x 7.93 x 1.62 inches, in 1/4 inch steel. The 1.62 inch width sits within the face of standard 1-5/8 inch strut, so it lands flat on the channel rather than overhanging it.

This bracing bracket is supplied as a plain steel strut fitting with no listing or certification attached to it. If your project specification calls for a certified seismic bracing component, confirm the spec against a product carried specifically for that duty rather than assuming this bracket satisfies it.

DURA GREEN is Eaton B-Line's coated steel finish, applied over the 1/4 inch steel bracket. It is a protective coating intended for service conditions harsher than plain or painted steel. For continuously wet, chemical, or coastal exposure, specify stainless or hot dip galvanized bracing hardware instead. No corrosion certification is carried on this bracket.
