B-Line Eaton series strut pipe clamps and accessories, .0677" height, 3.351" length, 1.25" width, 600 lbs, Steel, Pre-assembled combination recess hex

The B2011PAYZN strut clamp is rated for a 600 lb load capacity. That is the clamp's own rating, so your actual allowable load still comes down to whatever the strut run and its anchors are rated for, whichever is lower.

It ships pre-assembled with a combination recess hex head screw, so the fastener is already on the clamp. What you still need is the strut channel nut and, if your strut isn't already up, the channel and its anchors. Recess hex head means you can drive it with a hex driver or a screwdriver bit, which helps in tight overhead work.

Yellow zinc chromate over steel is a light corrosion-resistant plating meant for dry indoor use. For exterior runs, wash-down areas, parking structures or anything corrosive, step up to a hot dip galvanized or stainless strut clamp instead. The B2011PAYZN is a plated steel clamp.

The clamp measures 3.351 x 1.25 x .0677 inches (length, width, height as listed) and weighs .2 lb. The 1.25 inch width matters most on layout: it tells you how close you can space clamps along a single run of strut before the bodies interfere with each other.

Different jobs. A one-hole strap fastens conduit straight to a wall or deck. A strut clamp like the B2011PAYZN bolts into channel, so you use it when you are running multiple conduits or pipes along a trapeze or wall-mounted strut and want them spaced, adjustable and carried on a common support. If there is no strut in the run, a strap is the simpler part.

Order by manufacturer part number B2011PAYZN, Eaton B-Line series. The YZN suffix is the yellow zinc chromate finish, and the PA indicates it comes pre-assembled with its screw.

No certification or listing is carried on this steel strut clamp. If your specification calls for a listed or labeled support component, specify that requirement on the submittal and select accordingly.
