B-Line Eaton series strut pipe clamps and accessories, .0966" height, 4.394" length, 1.25" width, 800 lbs, Steel, Pre-assembled combination recess hex

The B2013PAYZN strut clamp is rated at 800 lbs load capacity. That is the clamp's rating only, so the strut channel, the anchors into the structure, and the spacing of your supports all have to carry that load too. For a run of conduit or pipe, the weakest link in that chain sets your real spacing.

The hardware ships with it. The B2013PAYZN comes with a pre-assembled combination recess hex head screw, so the fastener is already in the clamp when it comes out of the box. It drives with either a hex driver or a screwdriver bit, which speeds up overhead work on a lift. You still supply the strut channel and the channel nut if the assembly doesn't already have one in place.

It's steel with a yellow zinc chromate finish. That's a plated indoor/protected finish, suited to dry interior electrical and mechanical rooms rather than exposed exterior or wash-down work. If the run is outdoors or in a corrosive environment, specify a hot dip galvanized or stainless clamp instead.

Stated dimensions are 4.394 in length/depth, 1.25 in width, and .0966 in height, with a weight of .34 lb per clamp. The .0966 in figure is the steel thickness of the strap itself; the 1.25 in width is what determines how much of the strut channel face each clamp occupies, which matters when you're ganging several clamps close together on one run of strut.

Yes, it's a pipe or conduit clamp, so the same part supports rigid conduit, EMT, or pipe of the matching size on strut. Sizing is by the clamp model, so order the B2013PAYZN for the size it is built for rather than trying to stretch one clamp across two trade sizes.

Order Eaton B-Line part number B2013PAYZN. The PA suffix indicates the pre-assembled screw and ZN the yellow zinc chromate finish, so if you're matching existing supports in a building, that same number keeps the finish and hardware consistent across the job.
