The fastener is included. Each B2016SS4 ships with a combination recess hex head machine screw, so you are not buying strut nuts and screws as a separate line just to close the clamp. Combination recess hex means you can run it with a nut driver or a driver bit, which matters when you are on a lift.

The clamp measures 6.141 in, 1.25 in, and .104 in across its length, width, and height fields, with the .104 in figure being the strap stock thickness. It weighs .61 lb. Use the 1.25 in width when you are figuring how many clamps you can land side by side on a single run of strut.

Mechanically yes, but think about the pairing. A Type 304 stainless clamp bolted to pre-galvanized strut in a wet or coastal environment puts dissimilar metals in contact, and the zinc coating is the one that gives up first. If the reason you are buying stainless is corrosion, run stainless strut and stainless channel nuts with it. Indoors and dry, mixing is routine.

The included hardware is the machine screw that closes the clamp. To land it on strut you still need a channel nut with spring sized to your channel, 1-5/8 in being the common commercial size. Order the nuts in the same Type 304 stainless if the clamp is going into a corrosive area, otherwise the nut becomes the weak point in the assembly.

This is a pipe or conduit clamp, so it is intended for either. A strut clamp is the right call when you are hanging a run off channel and want the line held tight against the strut face. If you need the pipe standing off the structure or you are suspending from rod rather than channel, a clevis hanger or a riser clamp is the better fit, not a strut clamp.
