No. The 16124 SCGV carries a NEMA Type 1 rating, which is indoor use only, for protection against incidental contact and falling dirt. It does not seal against rain, hose-down, dust or oil. For an outdoor or wet location you need a Type 3R, 4 or 4X enclosure instead.
