Yes. The Eaton B-Line 24188 RTSC enclosure carries a NEMA 3R rating, so it is built for outdoor use against falling rain, sleet and ice formation. It ships with a rain hood and plated screws for that service. NEMA 3R is not a washdown or hosedown rating, so if the box will see direct pressure spray or heavy dust ingress you want a Type 4 or 12 enclosure instead.

It measures 24 inches high, 18 inches wide and 8 inches deep. That 8 inch depth is what decides whether your gutter taps, wire bending space or a mounted panel will actually clear the screw cover, so check it against the largest conductor bend radius you plan to run.

There are 9 bottom knockouts already provided. Everything else, sides, back and top, is blank, which is intentional on a 3R box, since penetrations above the water line defeat the rain rating. Plan your conduit entries into the bottom face.

Surface mount, using embossed thru holes in the back of the box. The embossed holes hold the body off the mounting surface so water can drain behind it rather than sit against the steel. At 28.5 pounds empty, anchor into structure or into blocking, not into drywall alone.

The 24188 RTSC is built to UL 50, the enclosure standard covering construction and environmental protection for electrical equipment enclosures. That, plus the NEMA 3R designation, is what an AHJ looks for on an outdoor surface-mounted junction box. It is made in the US.

Screw cover, flanged. You back out the plated screws and lift the whole cover off, which gives you full open access to the interior but means the cover is loose in your hands while you work. If you are opening the box routinely for adjustments, a hinged-door enclosure is the easier choice; for a box that gets closed and left alone, the screw cover is the tighter seal.

16 gauge carbon steel, painted ANSI 61 grey. ANSI 61 is the standard grey used across industrial control gear, so it matches adjacent panels and gutters on the same wall. It is a painted steel box, not stainless, so in coastal or chemical environments expect to touch up any field-drilled edges.
