Yes. The 884 RTSCGV is a NEMA Type 3R enclosure with an integral rainhood, so it is built for outdoor use where falling rain, sleet and ice need to be kept off the wiring. 3R is not a washdown or dust-tight rating, so keep it off surfaces that get hosed down or see driven dust; for that you want a 4 or 4X enclosure instead.

It measures 8 inches high, 8 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The 4 inch depth is the number to check before you commit: with large conductors or a splice bundle, bending space inside a 4 inch deep box gets tight fast.

There are 4 knockouts, all in the bottom of the box. Nothing is pre-punched in the sides, back or top, which is deliberate on a 3R enclosure since penetrations above the水 line defeat the rain rating. Run your conduit up into the bottom, or field-punch elsewhere and seal with a listed rain-tight fitting.

Surface mount, using embossed thru holes formed into the back of the box. The embossments hold the enclosure body off the mounting surface, so water can drain behind it rather than sit against the steel. You supply the anchors or screws to suit the substrate.

The body is 16 gauge galvanized steel and ships unfinished, grey mill galvanize rather than a painted coat. Galvanizing handles normal outdoor exposure and the hardware is plated screws. In coastal or chemically aggressive air, a painted or stainless enclosure is the better choice; you can also field-paint this one over a suitable primer.

This one is a screw cover. The cover lifts off entirely once the plated screws are out, which gives you unobstructed access for pulling and splicing, and there is no hinge or latch to seize up outdoors. The tradeoff is that a screw cover is slower to open than a hinged door, so if the box is opened routinely for service, pick a hinged-door 3R enclosure instead.

4.7 lb empty. A single installer can hold it to the wall and start the anchors without help, though on block or brick it is easier to lay out and drill off the embossed thru holes first.
