If your trough is 4x4, 6x6 or 8x8, you need the matching size elbow instead, not this one.

It is a NEMA 1 (Type 1) fitting, which is general purpose indoor protection against incidental contact with the enclosed wiring and falling dirt. It is not rated for rain, washdown, dust or corrosive locations, so keep it to dry indoor runs, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms and interior plant areas. For a wet or outdoor corner you need a Type 3R wireway elbow, not this one.
