1) Is the B-Line 4472 HSNK wireway rated for outdoor or wet locations?
No. It's a NEMA 1 wireway, which is indoor general purpose only, for protection against incidental contact and falling dirt. It's not raintight or dusttight, so for outdoors, washdown, or damp areas you need a NEMA 3R or 4 rated trough instead.
2) Does this B-Line trough come with knockouts already punched?
No knockouts. The 4472 HSNK body is blank, so every conduit entry gets field drilled or punched exactly where your run lands. That's what you want on a custom layout, but budget the hole saw or knockout punch time if you were expecting factory openings.
3) How does the cover open on the 4472 HSNK, and can I get at the wires after it's mounted?
The cover is hinged, so it swings open along the length instead of lifting off completely. That matters on a wall mount where a loose cover would have to be juggled overhead. The cover is also secured to the body with plated screws, so it stays shut until you back those out.
