The TP454 4 inch square steel box has AC/MC clamps built in, so armored and metal-clad cable lands directly in the box with no separate connector at those openings. There are four cable knockouts for that cable plus one 1/2 inch knockout in the bottom for a conduit or connector run. If you are pulling NM cable or EMT instead, you are supplying your own connector at the 1/2 inch bottom knockout.

The box measures 4 inches wide by 4 inches by 1-1/2 inches deep, the standard 4 inch square footprint, so it takes the usual 4 inch square raised device rings, blank covers, and plaster rings on the standard 4 inch square hole pattern.
