It covers 1-3/8 inch through 2 inch doors, with 1-3/4 inch shipped as standard unless you call out something thicker on the order. The door prep is a 2-1/8 inch cross bore with 5-1/2 inch center-to-center between the grip and the cylinder bore. If your existing prep is a different center-to-center, the plate won't line up and the door has to be re-prepped or plugged.
2) Which backset do I order for this Emtek entrance handleset?
Two backsets are offered, 2-3/8 inch and 2-3/4 inch, and it's a required selection on the order. The 2-3/8 inch latch is the standard shipment; 2-3/4 inch has to be specified. Measure from the door edge to the center of the bore before ordering. Those are the two backsets used on virtually all bored residential doors, so one of them will match what's already drilled.
3) Does handing matter on the 474333 grip by grip handleset?
Handing is required and you have to state left or right. Because there's a thumbpiece grip on both faces, the grips have to be oriented to the door swing, and it isn't field reversible the way a knob or lever set often is. Handing is called out by the outside grip, and each hand is available in Flat Black Bronze and Medium Bronze.
4) Can I key this Emtek handleset into the Weiser locks already on my house?
Yes. The standard cylinder is Schlage C keyway, but a Weiser WR5 keyway can be substituted at no upcharge, and it can be keyed into an existing Weiser system.
