2) What is the CF Mechanism option on Emtek knobsets and should I pick it?
CF stands for concealed fastener: the rosettes mount with no exposed screws on the face, which is the cleaner look most designers spec. Choosing CF also brings the 28 Degree Rotation Latch with it.
