Exit Security Single Door Outswing Door Bar
Actual length of the 1” and 1¼ “ bars: Take the width of each door and subtract 2½” for the 1” bars. Add the widths of the two doors and then add 2½” for the length of the 1¼” bar.
Example....60” opening: One door is 24” the other is 36”. One 1” bar is 21½” and the other is 33½” long. The 1¼” bar would be 62½” long.
Model Number: Example....SB-01-0072. The 01 stands for outswing and the 72 stands for the 72” wide door opening. (Sum of the two 36" door widths)
Package includes: Two 1” square tubing that install permanently on the doors. One 1¼ “ square tubing with four “L” bolts that go across the jamb. The tubing is electrostatic powder coated, red silk screened arrow with red LIFT UP letters. Four “L” bolts 6½ “ long with eight flange nuts. Four step nuts with four elevator bolts. A stick-on caution sign reading “CAUTION This door to remain unlocked during occupancy”, a storing bracket and our most important Exit Security “STEEL GRIP”. With our easy-to-do instruction sheet, installation will be a breeze.
Installation: No door or frame preparation is required. No special tools are need. The instruction sheet was designed for a quick and simple installation. Please allow a 20 to 30 minute installation time. Tools needed include: electric drill, 5/16 drill bit, cresent wrench, tape measure and pencil.
