Exit Security Double Door Outswing Bar (Model SB)

The Exit Security SB Series Double Door Outswing Bar is a heavy-duty, powder-coated steel push bar designed to secure double outswing doors without any door or frame preparation. Available in 60", 72", and 96" opening widths, it installs in 20–30 minutes with standard tools and ships complete with all hardware.

How to Measure Your Opening

The bar set consists of two 1" square tubes (one per door leaf) and one 1¼" square tube that spans the jamb.

  • 1" bars: Take the width of each individual door leaf and subtract 2½".
  • 1¼" bar: Add the widths of both door leaves together, then add 2½".

Example — 60" opening (24" + 36" leaves): The 1" bars are 21½" and 33½" long. The 1¼" bar is 62½" long.

Model number guide: In model SB-01-0072, 01 = outswing and 72 = the total door opening width in inches (sum of both door leaf widths).
