1) Will the EXO ML Marshal twin head floodlight mount to an existing 4 inch junction box?
Yes. The Marshal mounts to a standard 4 inch junction box, and a gasket ships with it to seal the electrical connections at the plate. The die-cast aluminum mounting plate also carries 1/2 inch threaded hubs, so it can be fed from conduit instead of a box where the run is surface mounted. Wall or eave mounting are both covered.
2) Can I put the EXO Marshal LED floodlight on 277V commercial power, or is it 120V only?
The Marshal runs on any supply from 120 to 277V at 50 to 60 Hz, so the same fixture works on a 120V residential circuit or a 277V lighting panel in a commercial building. Nothing changes in the order for voltage, there is one fixture for the whole range.
3) Is the EXO Marshal floodlight rated to be mounted outside in the rain?
Yes. The Marshal is UL listed to UL1598 for wet locations, and the two heads themselves are rated NEMA 3R. Housing and mounting plate are die-cast aluminum. That covers open wall, eave and soffit exterior mounting without a separate enclosure.
4) How much light does the EXO Marshal twin head put out compared to the old 150W flood lamps I'm taking down?
The Marshal replaces a pair of 150W incandescent flood lamps. Output is switchable at 2600, 3900 or 5200 lumens total, drawing 13W or 25W per head. So at the top setting you are pulling roughly 50W for the same job two 150W lamps were doing at 300W.
5) Do I have to pick a color temperature when I order the EXO Marshal, or can I change it after it's up?
You pick it on the fixture, not on the order. The Marshal switches between 3000K, 4000K and 5000K, and separately between the 13W and 25W output levels. That means one stocked part can be set warm to match residential entries or 5000K for a parking area, which is why it works as a standardization item across a mixed property. The only thing you choose when ordering is the finish.
6) How wide an area will the motion sensor on the EXO Marshal floodlight actually pick up?
The PIR occupancy sensor covers 180 degrees, so mounted flat on a wall it sees the full face of that wall but nothing behind it. For a corner or a wrap-around walkway you would need a second fixture on the other elevation. Time, sensitivity and detection distance are each adjustable on the sensor, and the housing is UV resistant so the lens does not chalk out in direct sun.
7) What finishes does the EXO ML Marshal LED security flood come in?
Two: dark bronze and white. That is the only choice to make at order time, since wattage and color temperature are both set on the fixture itself. Bronze is the usual pick for soffits and brick, white for stucco and light fascia.
8) Can the EXO Marshal floodlight be wired to stay on all night instead of switching on motion?
The Marshal is a sensor-driven on/off fixture. There is no dimming driver and no 0-10V input, the occupancy sensor is the control. If you need continuous dusk-to-dawn area light or a dimmed level, this is the wrong type and you want a photocell or dimmable area fixture instead. Where the Marshal fits is security duty: dark until something moves, then full output.
9) Can I aim the two heads on the EXO Marshal in different directions?
Both LED heads adjust independently, and each throws a 5x5 distribution, which is a square, roughly symmetric pattern rather than a narrow spot. Practically that lets you cover a driveway with one head and a side door with the other from a single junction box. Color rendering is 80 CRI, enough to tell a vehicle color or read a plate under it.
10) Is there a spec sheet for the EXO ML Marshal floodlight I can submit with my drawings?
