F4P Edgemark Flagging Tape - 1" x 200 ft, Orange & Pink

No adhesive on it. Edgemark flagging tape is a non-adhesive plastic ribbon, so you tie it, wrap it, or twist it onto stakes, rebar, branches, or fencing. It won't stick to itself or to a surface, which is why it comes off clean at the end of a job and why it's not a substitute for barricade tape you need to run and stick.

Two colors, orange and pink, ordered separately by color. On utility locating work the APWA uniform color code reads pink as temporary survey markings and orange as communications, alarm, or signal lines and conduit. Plenty of crews also use pink simply because it reads better than orange against fall foliage and orange dirt. If your locate ticket or site standard assigns colors, order to that; if you're just staking boundaries, either one works.

Different tools. At 1 inch wide, Edgemark is a marking ribbon for flagging points, boundaries, hazards, and utilities, tied to stakes and objects. It's not a run-and-post barrier: barricade tape is 3 inches wide and printed with a legend such as CAUTION or DANGER so it functions as a warning to anyone approaching. Use flagging tape to mark where something is, and barricade tape to keep people out of somewhere.

Edgemark is a plastic ribbon meant for jobsite and outdoor use, and it's the right call for staking, surveying, landscaping layout, and hazard marking that lasts the span of a job. It is a temporary marker, not permanent signage. For a boundary that has to read months out or through a winter, plan on re-flagging, or back the tape up with a driven stake or a permanent marker. For crews who just need the line visible through the current phase of work, one flag per stake does it.

Edgemark is plain solid-color ribbon in orange or pink, with no printed legend. If your spec calls for a printed message, or for underground detectable warning tape that a locator can pick up, that's a different product. For flagging a stake, a tree, a valve, or a survey point, plain color is what crews want anyway, since it reads at a distance and doesn't depend on anyone getting close enough to read text.
