1) What strike does the Falcon 25-R need, and will it latch into the strike already in my frame?
The 299 strike is standard with the 25-R, and the device throws a 3/4 inch latch. Rim devices latch into a surface strike mounted on the frame stop, so unless what is in your frame is already a rim strike set up for a 3/4 inch throw, use the 299 that comes with it. It does. This 25-R is supplied with 510L lever trim, so you get an outside lever and keyed entry, not just a push to exit.
