1) Will Greenlee Glo Stix rods fish through a standard single-gang outlet box opening?
Yes. The Glo Stix rods are 5/32 inch in diameter, which is thinner and more flexible than 1/4 inch fish rods, so they feed through outlet box knockouts and tight wall cavities more easily. They bend to a 3-1/2 inch minimum radius, which is what lets you work around a plate or a stud edge inside the box without kinking the rod.
2) Can I add length by combining Glo Stix with Greenlee 1/4 inch Fish Stix?
Yes. The Glo Stix sections use steel-threaded connectors that interchange with Greenlee 1/4 inch Fish Stix, so you can build a longer run by threading on Fish Stix sections such as the 11583G (1/4 in x 4 ft) or 11584 (1/4 in x 6 ft). Keep the thinner 5/32 Glo Stix at the leading end where flexibility matters and use the stiffer 1/4 inch sections behind it for push.
3) What tips come with the Greenlee 540-18 kit, and what else can I order?
The kit ships with a bullet nose tip installed.
