Metallics JPFMCVE1421050 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) How many pieces come in a jar of Metallics JPFMCVE1421050 HangerMate hangers?
25 pieces per jar. Metallics packages this HangerMate in jar pack, which is the format electrical contractors buy for stocking a van or a job box rather than single-piece counts.
2) What is a HangerMate vertical rod hanger used for on an electrical job?
It is the anchor that starts a vertical drop of threaded rod from the structure above, used to suspend conduit racks, strut, cable tray, and light fixtures. The JPFMCVE1421050 is the vertical, 1/4 inch by 2-1/2 inch version, so it is intended for drops hung straight down rather than angled or horizontal pulls.
3) Do I still need to buy threaded rod separately with the JPFMCVE1421050?
Yes. The HangerMate JPFMCVE1421050 is the hanger itself, 1/4 inch by 2-1/2 inches, supplied 25 to a jar. The 1/4 inch threaded rod, nuts, and whatever clamp or strut you are hanging at the bottom of the drop are ordered separately.
