1) Can I get the Houzer Medallion MC-3210S with the small bowl on the left instead of the right?
Both orientations are built. MC-3210SR-1 puts the small prep bowl on the right, MC-3210SL-1 puts it on the left. Same 70/30 split either way, and both ship in satin stainless with the basket strainers and colander. Pick based on which side your dishwasher and prep run sits on, because the bowls are not symmetrical and the sink cannot be flipped.
2) Will a standard garbage disposal fit the Houzer MC-3210S drain?
The MC-3210S uses a 3-1/2 inch drain opening, which is the standard US kitchen sink size that every common disposal mounting flange is built for. Drains are at the rear of both bowls, which keeps the disposal body and the P-trap back against the cabinet wall and frees up usable shelf space underneath.
3) Can the Houzer Medallion undermount sink be installed under a granite or quartz countertop?
Undermount is the only installation type for this sink, and it is intended for stone or solid surface tops where the fabricator polishes the cutout edge. It comes with mounting clips, a template for marking the cutout, and instructions. There is no deck or rim to sit on a laminate top, so laminate installs are out unless the top is built for undermount.
4) Does the Houzer MC-3210S come with strainers, or do I need to order drains separately?
Two basket strainers and a colander are in the box, along with the mounting clips, cutout template and instructions. You still need tailpieces, a P-trap and supply work for the faucet, and a disposal if the job calls for one. Bottom grids and a cutting board are sold separately if you want to protect the bowl floor.
