The NVS-16-1717 bowl is a full 9 inches deep, which is kitchen-sink depth in a bar footprint. It works, but check your drain height before you commit: with a rear drain location and 9 inches of bowl plus countertop thickness, the P-trap sits low in the cabinet, and that matters most if there's a drawer or a wall drain stub at a fixed height.
2) Will a standard garbage disposal fit the Houzer NVS-16-1717?
The drain opening is 3-1/2 inches, which is the standard US kitchen sink size, so a standard disposal flange mounts to it. Note the drain sits at the rear of the bowl rather than center, so lay out the trap arm accordingly.
