The J2159CRTP strips 10-14 AWG solid and 12-16 AWG stranded. That covers the range you work in on branch circuits and receptacle/switch rough-in, but it stops short of low-voltage control and data conductors, so a thermostat or network run in 18-22 AWG needs a dedicated small-gauge stripper. The stripping holes sit in the same head as the crimper and the side-cut knives.
2) Are Klein J2159CRTP hybrid pliers insulated for live electrical work?
No. The J2159CRTP is not an insulated tool, so it must not be used on energized conductors. The Journeyman dual material grips are comfort handles, not rated insulation. For work that can't be de-energized you need a 1000V insulated plier rated to that standard, not this one.

No. The J2159CRTP has no tether point and isn't rated for tethering, so it shouldn't be used where dropped-object prevention is required. On a lift, a tower or any overhead job with a tether policy, specify a tether-capable plier instead.
6) Does the Klein J2159CRTP crimp insulated wire terminals?
