The XPS-375-1 sleeves cover 12 AWG through 6 AWG conductors, which works out to a wire diameter range of 0.125 in to 0.32 in (3.2 mm to 8.13 mm). Supplied at 0.375 in (9.5 mm) diameter, they shrink 3:1 to grip the conductor. If your conductor is smaller than 12 AWG or larger than 6 AWG, you need a different sleeve diameter.

The tradeoff is that the sleeve has to go on before the conductor is terminated. If the wire is already landed on both ends, a wrap-around or flag label is the practical option.
