Dormakaba 114003 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What does the Kaba Mas CDX strike work with?
The CDX Series strike is a replacement strike for Kaba Mas CDX-10 and CDX-09 high security locks. It is a strike only, not the lock body, so it is what you order when the strike is damaged, missing, or wrong for the opening and the lock itself is fine.
2) Can I use a Kaba Mas CDX strike on a CDX-09 lock, or is it CDX-10 only?
Both. The strike covers the CDX-10 and the CDX-09 high security locks, so a facility running a mix of the two draws from the same strike part.
3) Does the Kaba Mas CDX strike include the lock or the dial?
Strike only. It is a replacement part for a CDX lock installation, so the lock body, dial, and mounting for the lock itself stay as they are and only the strike is replaced.
